Merck Serono CORFLO Enteral Feeding Devices are NPSA Compliant

The NPSA/2007/19 deadline of March 31st 2008 meant that all enteral feeding devices must be:

  • Non-compatible with IV syringes and
  • Labelled "Enteral"
Since the 1st April, all CORFLO enteral feeding devices, and the CE marked pH Indicator strips, supplied by Merck Serono are compatible with NPSA guidelines.

The CORFLO enteral feeding devices now conform to the following NPSA specifications:

Not compatible with IV syringes
Compatible with catheter tip syringes
Compatible with female luer syringes
Labelled "Enteral" (and colour coded) ports
Completely radio-opaque (Fine Bore Feedig Tube range)
Regular centimetre markings

These features are available across the Merck Serono enteral feeding device range, so you can now order with confidence knowing that you will receive products that will benefit your health care practice by reducing the risk of wrong route errors.
