pH Indicator Strips

Our pH strips now carry the CE mark. This means that they are the only strips in the UK and ROI certified for use as an in-vitro Diagnostic Medical Device for determination of the pH in human aspirate for the assessment of correct gastric tube placement. This certification was achieved by undertaking clinical trials using patients who had enteral tubes in situ and testing the aspirate to determine correct placement.

Because of the CE marking we can now offer you a product that:

• Is packaged with specific instructions for use
• Complies with the NPSA requirements for having 0.5 increments
• Comes in two ranges; pH 0-6 (product code 090120602) and pH 2-9 (product code 090120601)
