pH Indicator Strips
In conjunction with recent NPSA guidelines, Merck Gastroenterology now offers two ranges of pH indicator strips:
- pH 0-6 order code 090120092
- pH 2-9 order code 090120091
These sensitive, non-bleeding pH indicator strips display 0.5 graduations and distinctive colour change to allow for accurate readings of the correct pH throughout the entire range, including the pH5 to 6 range.
The Farrell® Valve Enteral Gastric Pressure Relief System
A patient suffering from poor gastric motility faces many problems: constant pain and discomfort due to the build-up of fluids and gas, the threat of aspiration pneumonia and, often, the inability to tolerate enteral nutrition.
The Farrell Valve system solves these problems by providing a channel to constantly decompress the stomach, allowing the stomach to empty at its own pace.
